Self Inroduction of Ryo Kato

My name is Ryo Kato.

I am a software engineer. My specialty is web application development. I can develop backend and frontend. Also, I sometimes build infrastructure using AWS.

I'm currently working on developing an AWS service at Amazon in the US. I work in the East Palo Alto office (SJC18), but I don't commute to there. I joined the company after remote work started, so the only time I've been to the office was during a job interview.

I live in Mountain View, California, USA. It's a tranquil place.

I used to develop and run a web service called Denkinovel. I'm not running it anymore, but I might start again soon.

I was born and raised in Kyoto, Japan, and after graduating from the Faculty of Agriculture at Kyoto University, I went on to complete my studies at the Graduate School of Informatics at Kyoto University. I then worked as a software engineer at a company called DeNA for three years before quitting to pursue a master's degree in computer science at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. After completing the program of MS in Computer Science - Scientists and Engineer, I moved to New York City and worked as a software engineer at MUA, Inc..

After working at MUA for eight months, I changed my job and moved to Silicon Valley.
